Yes, but within reason. It is, of course, completely fine to bring someone with you (for company, to hold your hand, moral support, etc). Because of the limited space of our shop it is best that you only bring 1-2 persons with you, if necessary. We also expect that your guests will respect the work being done.

At the moment the waiting time is roughly 1-2 weeks.
We do have occasional gaps in our schedule, though.

Yes, we sell giftcards! At the moment giftcards can only be bought at our shop.

We have handmade the giftcards themselves by re-using the paper-waste in the shop. ♡

If we have time for it, then yes! Most often we are booked ~1-2 weeks ahead, but there are some gaps in our schedule every now and then. If you want to do a walk-in, you are more than welcome to come on by or call us to check if we are available for this.

No, never. Legally and morally it makes no difference for us if a parent has consented. It is like sending a child to the liquor-store with a note. Nobody wants this.

No. It is illegal to tattoo these areas. We don’t tattoo fingers, the neck, the throat, the face or behind the ears either.
We also do not tattoo genitals.

We can send you rough sketches, but we will not send the finished design. There are several reasons for this, amongst others; art theft. Most often your design won’t be drawn until shortly before your appointment. Of course, you will be able to see the design and make some changes before tattooing starts.
If this is an issue, then we recommend that we book you for a consultation so we can draw together.

We do. Obviously we first need to evaluate if your cover-up is something we will be capable of doing. This includes whether or not it’s possible to cover the tattoo with what you want. If not, then we would love to work with you and come with suggestions on how to best cover the old tattoo.

You can at any point make smaller changes to the design or placement, f.x. if something should be bigger, have a different colour, or you want the tattoo on your arm rather than your leg.
If you want a completely different design from what was previously agree upon (design, placement), we do ask. that you notify us well ahead of time (min. 96 hours before the appointment), so we can prepare for this.
If you change the entire design on the day of the appointment, we will have to book you for a later date.

Much like with scars and skin-conditions - it all depends on what your medical condition is. Here we are mostly referring to conditions like diabetes, hepatitis, hemophilia, epilepsy, HIV, AIDS, etc. When you fill out the inquiry-form there is a box where you can write what conditions and allergies you have.
Some medical conditions require a doctor’s note before we can allow ourselves to tattoo you.
The same goes for certain medications.
This is primarily for your safety, but also for ours.

No. We do not recommend that you get tattooed while pregnant and/or breastfeeding. There is no reason to put the health of mother and child at risk.
Because the immune-system is compromised during pregnancy there are some risks that could happen, like:

• Some infections can spread to the milk and to the baby

• The skin is different due to hormones, and this could the ink spread under the skin.

• Higher chance of allergic reactions, and these allergies could potentially be transferred to the foetus.

• Higher risk of infections like Hepatitis B, Hepatitis C and HIV, which can all infect the foetus.

• And, worst case scenario, a higher chance that the pain from getting tattooed potentially could lead to a premature birth.

Overall, it’s just a really bad idea.

There is no simple answer to this. First and foremost it depends on what condition or scar. Everyone’s body is different, same for skin, skin-conditions and scars.
We wish to see the area first, in person, so we can evaluate if this is possible. We do ask that you talk to a doctor or dermatologist and get cleared for tattooing. It is absolutely possible to tattoo on top of scars. It just limits the design possibilities, takes longer time and will need one or more touch-ups.
The scar needs to be a minimum of 2 years old before we can even consider tattooing on top of it, and again - the tattoo artists will need to see the scar first.

We use rotary-machines to tattoo. Our machines are quality machines and function exceptionally well for the work we do. Rotary-machines make considerably less noise than coil-machines. This means that the loud noises that are typically associated with tattoo shops are more or less eliminated.
If you struggle with sounds and over-stimulation, we recommend that you tattoo artist who uses rotary-machines.
Our disposable equipment is top-quality. We carefully research and select the brands we use and where we buy from.
All needle-cartridges are of course disposable, sterile and professional-grade.
